Faux wood shutters are an interesting change on blinds. I installed eight faux wood shutters in our home in Fayetteville, North Carolina inside the house. This is not the habitual approach of installing shutters. Commonly they are installed exterior in southern homes, they were stopped and the portholes were left opened. The cool breezes then could write the house while the home was still cosseted against intruders and varmints. I installed our shutters inside because we had an intensity pump.
